About

I have a Masters’ Degree in Counselling and Psychotherapy and am a Registered Member of the BACP – British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy. I am trained in
women’s studies, restorative justice, sociology and domestic violence awareness. I am also trained in a range of alternative therapies which can be complementary to counselling and psychotherapy as a way to feel positive and hopeful for the future.

A high level of knowledge and skill, and a desire to deliver a high degree of professionalism and quality to my clients is very important, but I believe that equally important is the fact that I’ve been there too. I’ve experienced first-hand in some form – loss, domestic violence, and addictive substance misuse. I understand the journey of survival and the power of thriving, not just surviving.

I’m passionate about empowering others and letting them know that, no matter how hard, there is always a way forward.
The space that I offer you, for your journey of self-understanding, is person-centred peaceful, holistic, trusting and respectful. I work intuitively with the space and flow of the session and in a non-directive way with the energy of each individual.

Our sessions are based on a contract of safety, and a mutual commitment to move forward and make a difference. The process is transparent and, together, we establish boundaries and build strong relationships.

Whatever the drama or chaos that surrounds, I believe that, working together, “peace is possible”… get in touch for a Discovery Session.
